Payments for travel agencies — payment schedules, balances, commissions and invoicing through 4invoices
For each booking you set the deposit and instalments, record the payments received, see the remaining balance and calculate agent commissions. The booking invoice is issued through 4invoices.net, the invoicing brand of the 4b2b ecosystem.
What the payments and invoicing module does
Payment schedule per booking
Generate the deposit, as a percentage of the total, and the remaining instalments, due at the interval you choose. Instalments already paid are untouched if you rebuild the schedule.
Payments recorded on the file
Record every payment received — card, bank transfer or cash — and link it to the instalment it covers.
Up-to-date balance per file
See how much has been collected and how much the client still owes, right on the booking — you know who still owes before departure.
Card payment from the file
When online payments are enabled for your account, you can start a card payment for the deposit or balance from the booking, through the payment processor.
Agent commissions
Calculate the agent's commission as a percentage of the booking value, optionally only on the part already collected, and mark it paid when you settle it.
Invoicing through 4invoices.net
The booking invoice is issued, and reversed if needed, through 4invoices.net, which handles compliant issuing. 4AgencyTravel does not do the agency's accounting.
Once the booking is confirmed you generate the payment schedule, record the deposit and instalments as they come in and follow the balance until it's fully paid. You calculate the agent's commission on the booking and issue the invoice through 4invoices.net. Payment reminders are not sent to the client automatically — you see the due dates on the file.
